Vandoren OPTIMUM AL4 Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece

The Vandoren OPTIMUM series was the fruit of research on both external shape (particularly the beak) and sound, in order to meet the needs of today’s saxophone players. OPTIMUM mouthpieces are favourites of classical saxophonists.

The AL4 is a little more open than the AL3, while maintaining the sound aesthetic of the OPTIMUM series. It has a 163 + (1/100 mm) tip opening and a medium-short facing length.
