John Packer JP273 Baritone
The JP273 Bb Baritone Horn builds on the pedigree of its student counterpart the JP173, and goes on to add a fully compensating system, greatly increasing the tuning ability of the instrument. This instrument has professional features and competes very well against instrument in the same price bracket. The JP273 is often complimented for its exceptional tonal qualities that have been described as "better than models ten times the price". The JP273 Bb Baritone Horn is great for students looking to invest in an instrument that they can grow into. Suitable for everyone from novices to training bands.
The JP273 Bb Baritone Horn features a fully compensating system and is constructed from attractive yellow brass throughout. The inclusion of bottom sprung valves (brass valve guides) and 3 water keys help keep it in good working order with a smooth and free action. The instrument has a bore of .547" and a 9.5" bell.
The JP273 is supplied with a JP Mouthpiece and lightweight case. The case is well designed to be robust yet lightweight and to provide as much protection to your instrument as possible. It is equipped with backpack straps and a comfortable should strap as standard and also includes a small external storage pocket suitable for storing small accessories and sheet music.
All JP Instruments are covered by a comprehensive 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects. Please note this does not cover aesthetic or finish faults. For full terms & conditions visit the JP Musical Instruments website.
